While the eyes of the world are trained on Ukraine, a lot is also happening elsewhere. Oil producers and international pariahs Venezuela and Iran have signed a 20-year plan in Tehran to cooperate regarding oil, defense, petrochemicals, and the economy, and with the intention of resisting pressure from Washington. Both countries are under heavy U.S. sanctions. Iran has also been enriching uranium and was recently censured by the International Atomic Energy Agency as a result.
